If you expect yourself to focus, you need to give yourself some warm-up time to focus. Don't assume that you have attention issues if you sit down and it takes 5 or 10 minutes to drop into a state of focus, just like you wouldn't expect yourself to go out for a hard run without some sort of warm-up jog before
